Still No Good

I was doing so good, then late yesterday I just stepped wrong, and now i'm back to not being able to move much.  I really need to go to the grocery store, but just don't know how.  Not even sure I could get into my car today.  The problem is I can't lift my right leg without bringing on that terrible pain.  I'm getting to the point,,,that whatever it takes, fix it.

There's no way I could possibly get on that table for an MRI, tho.  And it's so narrow, it scares me.  I still think it's in the muscle, not the hip, and both doctors said they thot  it was bursitis.  BUT,,,what to do???  Any ideas?

Just wanted to give an update, such as it is....Yall tc, and

  1. Maybe eating a bunch of burritos would cure bursitis???

  2. I had bursitis in my hip after 3 months of backpacking in the Appalachians. I was told the bursitis was from all the repetitive movement; to avoid stairs; to avoid a lot of walking; and to take Naproxen, which can be really hard on your stomach. I think just by resting pretty much of the time it eventually got better. I really feel for you - that is some of the worst pain I ever experienced! Take care.

    1. Sooo glad to know that someone else has had this. And resting is about the only thing that seems to help. It's been about 4 or more weeks now, need to get better! I had it in my shoulder a long time ago.

  4. Regarding getting on that table for the MRI...they have techs that help you up and a little step stool. I know because of my mother.

Have no suggestions for the bursitis though. Hope you get well soon.

    1. It's not just getting up there, it's the moving around on that narrow table. When I had the xray, it just about killed me, and that table was lots wider.
