When I got up at 8, the wind was blowing out of the N already. The house wasn't cold yet, so turning on some heat has kept it warm all morning.
Trying to remember it's Tuesday,,, trash day. I do it that way, cause i'm never up early enough on Wed. to get it out in time. One big bag is all I have, most weeks. That's those big black yard bags. The ones for house are too small for my trash can. I like the big ones better.
Darn it, went to the store yesterday, and didn't get milk. NOW, gotta go back. Need eggs too. O well, I can blow in, blow out,,,lol.
My dotter gave me flowers for my birthday,,,last Friday. The roses are already gone. They were bronze, and even had the smell. BUT,,, lasted just those few days. The others (not roses) are ok, so I still have some.
DD, i'm expecting some pics of that swamp of yours,,,lol. Love that thing. My camera is always in the wrong place,,like right now, it's in the car, and i'm not going out to get it.
Yall tc, and
HAGD
I need to go to the grocery store myself as we are out of milk even though I do have the Mexican milk that lasts 4 months in the cardbox cartons.
ReplyDeleteI too have to put out the trash tonight as they have started coming before eight in the morning and I do not want to have to run after them like last time.
I usually trim the roses daily and put an aspirin in the vase water and they tend to last me a little longer.
That darn store was colder inside than it was outside. But I did get milk and eggs, and, of course, a couple of other things.
DeleteI never have any aspirin here, became allergic to it years ago. Even had to call an ambulance after taking 2. These were past saving.
Let me know if it snows there. . . I have to use garbage cans cause the neighborhood dogs would tear up the plastic bags and scatter stuff all over. Has happened once, and that was enough for me to learn.
ReplyDeletenot gonna snow,,,lol, I was joking. And I have one of those big containers to put my one bag in. Belongs to the company that charges an ungodly sum for it.
DeleteI SO miss Indiana right now, because I want some gourds at the door, and some afghans tossed about. But for the good part: The news told us that we are going to get SLAMMED with a cold front tomorrow. SLAMMED!!!! (69 degrees) Believe it or not, but true Floridans will be wearing ear warmers, hats, coats and boots tomorrow. It gives Joe and me some great laughs.
ReplyDeletehahaha good one!
